Hey I found myself clicking here after seeing a post on the slip message boards. If you check out the show 8-9-2002, during the "get me with Fuji", around maybe 4 or 5 minutes into it, Brad plays this lick a few times. You can kind of hear him invent it as the jam unfolds. I don't know if it's the first time he played it and he just liked it, but that is my hunch.
